Imane “Pokimane” Anys, one of the most popular streamers recently appeared in an interview with Anthony Padilla. In the interview, she addressed many rumors and controversies surrounding her among many other things.

The streamer stated that if she were to start her streaming career all over again, she would be a faceless streamer. She might also have had second thoughts about putting her real name and face out there on the internet. Pokimane said, “If I could do it again, I would be faceless” in the interview.

According to Pokimane, the best way to cope with all the hate and scrutiny is to keep her real personality and streaming personality separate. This way, she knows that her viewers don’t know the real her and hence, she doesn’t take her comments personally.

Pokimane further said that she doesn’t like her private and intimate details to be discussed on the streaming platform. She finds it extremely weird when she’s asked intimate questions like whether she has a boyfriend or not.

The streamer also opened up about being stalked. During the interview, Pokimane disclosed one scary incident wherein a stalker found out her address and flew all the way to California to see her.

While hunting the address, the stalker came across Pokimane’s roommate. She said, “He came across my roommate, and he was like, ‘Oh, I know you. You need to take me to Poki. We’re meant to be. I came down here for her.’”

Her roommate was quick to react and tipped Pokimane of this. The streamer then locked all her doors and streamed all night. Pokimane added, “I was like, if this guy finds me, and tries to do something scary, at least I’ll be streaming, so people will see what happens.”

Unfortunately, several female streamers have been stalked and harassed. Amouranth and BrookeAB have admitted to being stalked and threatened.
